Barcelona Wine Bar opened January 17, 2026 as the first full-service restaurant inside Sundy Village, a downtown Delray Beach mixed-use development, bringing the 25-location Spanish tapas chain's first Delray outpost after years of scouting the market.

Croquetas, Bravas, and Paella That Shifts With the Season

Executive chef Javier Narváez prints the menu fresh daily, adjusting it as ingredients and seasons change, but staples include jamón and Manchego croquetas, patatas bravas, boquerones served with housemade potato chips, and a "bikini" sandwich layered with jamón serrano and Mahón cheese. The kitchen also turns out gambas al ajillo, tuna crudo with ajoblanco, and two paellas built for the table: a seafood marisco version and a salvaje paella loaded with pork belly, morcilla, chicken, and short rib.

Design Inspired by Sherry Bodegas in Jerez

The dining room draws its look from Lustau's sherry bodegas in Jerez, Spain, with repeating arches, warm whites, natural wood, and clay tones setting the backdrop for vintage Mediterranean pieces like 1800s amphorae and a terracotta octopus pot. The result is a space built for lingering over shared plates rather than rushing through a meal.
