Talkin' Tacos: Birria Pizza From Two Childhood Friends' Food Truck

Talkin' Tacos opened its Linton Boulevard location in Delray Beach as the third Palm Beach County outpost for a brand that started as a food truck in 2020, founded by childhood friends Mohammad Farraj and Omar Almassalkhi.

The menu's standout is a birria pizza — a thin-crust cheese pizza topped with slow-cooked beef birria, onion, cilantro, avocado salsa and cotija cheese — alongside specialty tacos like Caribbean Carne with marinated steak and sweet plantains, a Mahi Mahi taco with red cabbage and spicy mayo, and a Steak Al Pastor taco with pineapple and pickled onions. House specialties round out the menu with a Tomato Basil Ramen and a Birria Grilled Cheese served with tomato soup.

What started as a food truck has grown into a South Florida brand serving as the official taco partner of the Miami Dolphins, and the 2,400-square-foot Delray Beach space was built to reflect the city's energy with a focus on lively, Instagram-ready presentation.
